Currently available in four flavors, each one has an awesome story to the name, including the origins of the taste and the debauchery of the pirates that roamed the areas many centuries ago. (You can read about them below) Others are being created and tested and we always welcome your ideas and input. Just hit the "DROP US A LINE" button below!
A sweet and earthy start with a slow attack of heat that creeps up in the end. Truly, a taste that keeps you coming back for it's unique flavor experience. The flavor is as unique as the history of Port Royal and indigenous to the area.
In 1655, English forces attacked Spanish Jamaica and took it with ease. For a few years after, the Spanish continued attempts to recapture the area. In response to these attempts, buccaneers were invited by the English Governor of Jamaica to settle in to protect the new colony and set up base. These "state-sponsored privateers" would plunder the surrounding Spanish colonies on behalf of the king and Port Royal actually became one of the richest places in the world. It was the home and paradise to the true pirates of the Caribbean.

Touched with the taste of cinnamon and sugar, an obvious addition to Captain B's SHARK BAIT family, that is sure to appease the sweet tooth without going overboard. Awesome by the handful or an incredible topping for anything you wish to add a little sweet, crunch to!
90% of the world's cinnamon comes from Sri Lanka (formerly known as Ceylon) and the oceans around the island were frequented with pirates.
Sinbad is probably the most well known pirate to visit the island of Sri Lanka. Although his story is purely fictional, Sri Lanka and it's treacherous shores offers true-life accounts of piracy in the Indian Ocean that is complicated and distinctly different than anywhere else. It's waters were a "free sea" allowing ships to sail and trade without formal permission. This, coupled with being one of the largest trade ports of it's area, equates to the ultimate feeding grounds for a pirate!

A really good heat with a hint of lime. Super tasty on it's own, an excellent replacement for croutons, top off your burger or use as the base for a plate of nachos with your favorite fixings.
Madagascar was basically a pirate vacation spot, although the waters surrounding it weren't so friendly. The island itself provided many comfort foods such as beef, chicken, eggs, a huge variety of fresh fruits and of course, the Madagascar Chili. It was common for the buccaneers to leave messages at meeting spots that read "Gone to Madagascar for lymes".
The island was such a popular spot that in the late 17th century, a colony founded by pirates emerged on the island. They called their colony Libertalia, from the Latin word liberi which means "free". It was established as a society in which people of all colors, creed and beliefs were to be free of any scrutiny.

An incredible herbal blend of seasoning with hints of dill, garlic and parsley. Definitely not your typical "Ranch" flavor but, a masterpiece none the less. A common reflection of the flavors you may find in "The Bay" area. Eat them up on there own or toss them on anything you desire to have an herbal crunch addition.
Henry Arripaye of Poole, was a greatly feared pirate along the coast of France and Spain, the Bay of Biscay and throughout the southern seas. As Captain of the Mary, he was licensed to carry pilgrims to Spain but decided it would be better to utilize the ship to capture other vessels and raid towns.
In retribution, a group of Spanish and French galleys made their way to Arripaye's hometown of Poole and destroyed it. Many were killed or forced to flee. Of course, this doesn't set well with a pirate. Set on revenge, Arripaye led a fleet of 15 ships, capturing a reported 120 Spanish and French cargo ships loaded with valuable goods and huge quantities of wine. Arripaye returned to the town of Poole with all of the goods to compensate the remaining townspeople for their suffering. Legend says the people feasted and drank for days.
